I Need a Car

1965 Classic Mustang
1959 Classic Beetle
I need a new car, my VW Cabrio has finally quit on me and needs too much work considering the high Blue Book value.  Sooo, I'm thinking of getting some kind of classic car for myself.  I love the mustang but am also drawn to the bug.  I think the mustang might win if I can find just the right one.  It's a hot car, I've always loved them!

  1. Those are two great selections, but they’re entirely different, so comparing them is kind of difficult. I think the Beetle is a better choice if you want something similar to the Cabrio. The Mustang, on the other hand, is definitely hot. A properly restored 1965 Mustang can cost from $15,000 to $30,000; you got your work cut out for you here. I wish you good fortune on your hunt for a new car!

  2. Wow, I bet you had a hard time choosing between those two! So, did the Mustang ultimately win? You know, aside from its appearance and price, you also have to consider how you see yourself in both of these cars. Mustang is a little bit flashier than the Beetle, while the Beetle has a more classic feel than the Mustang. That’s only one part of the criteria you can come up with. I hope you’ve made the right decision for you!

    1. I ended up getting another Cabriolet - a convertible. Can you believe it? After all my searching, getting in the cars and checking them out, I got exactly what I had before. Except in a nicer color with better upgrades, too. We were gone on vacation for almost a month and I just noticed your comment. Have a Happy Thanksgiving! ;)

  3. Hello there! Well, you don’t have to worry about it since there are some who tend to do that as well, myself included. ;) I’m really fond of Beetles so my latest car is a 2012 VW Bug! Actually, it’s my third time to have a VW Bug. :p
