New Artwork

Here are several of my latest oil paintings shown with frame sample ideas. Frames are for color reference only. I have about fifty new paintings and I'm waiting for them to dry before listing them. Each day is quiet and peaceful spending my days painting in my new studio listening to a variety of music from opera and classical to classic rock, whatever mood I'm in dictates what I listen to.

I'll be listing these and others very soon...

Tranquility

This is the first heavy snow we've received since moving to Reno a couple months ago and are in total heaven. You cannot imagine how absolutely gorgeous it is here. Late this afternoon we took another stroll around the golf course and it was a little darker than I wanted because it was just before sunset when these were taken.

This coming Wednesday we're supposed to get even more of a dump of the fluffy white stuff and I hope to be able to get out for more photos in the neighborhood.

There are a few pictures here that I intend on doing some paintings of. I actually began painting a couple of little paintings this afternoon and it feels so good to be painting again.

These two photos, above and below, are the hills directly behind our house and every morning John hikes up them before the sun comes up. He gets up a tad too early for me, it's still dark out and very cold, usually in the teens. I did go out with him a few times when it's cold like that but it's just a little too early when he goes.

It was so quiet when we were walking on the golf course path and the only sound you could hear was the crunching of our footsteps in the snow.
