and headed up to Cobb Mountain to stay at our friend's (thank you, Barbara! xoxo) cabin in the woods. It's not a small cabin but a pretty red house tucked into the trees that definitely has the rustic cabin feel and looks like a cabin. Thankful that the major fires in Clearlake were out but heard news of a smaller one that was burning in Lake County. Thankfully, no smoke to be seen.
We went wine tasting on Friday, which was a lot of fun. A friend of mine (thank you, Mark!) recommended we check out Boutique Winery, which we did. Mark did the beautiful tile work at the winery. He did an outstanding job, too.
Here's a bunch of pictures I captured of the gorgeous boat collection museum and some of the garden area where we sampled some sweet grapes right off the vines. They even allowed us to sample some of the tomatoes and strawberries growing in the garden which also has some gorgeous Black-eyed-susans aka Rudbekia.
Boatique Wine.
Their wine label is gorgeous. Psst! The wine is very good, too. Worth checking out. |
This lone artichoke flower photograph, which reminds me of the southwest, was taken off the porch at Six Sigma Winery.
