Michael and I loaded up the truck with our easels and took off for the countryside to scout around for some subjects to paint.
We ended up on the frontage road and looked at the hills across the freeway for our landscapes.
Mike is doing what he does best. Dabbing. His own little technique.
I got mine laid down fairly quickly, I'm a fast painter.

Then I brightened things up a bit and signed my name.
After this we drove out to Suisun Valley and painted an old barn of a friend. The sun was going down and the mosquitos came out. My poor arm suffered the most. They like me. Next to go in the plein air bag: bug repellant.
