New Techniques

The black shelf
you see here is an ancient Japanese technique called Shou sugi ban.  It's literally burned charred wood.  It's a way of preserving wood and it's really quite beautiful.  I think it would fit in with many home decor styles.  Rustic, Beach, Modern and Industrial.

The white color shown here is different from our regular white and our whitewashed gray.  I'm calling this color Rustic White.  It's my very own technique that I've developed to give the wood this very rustic cottage white look.
