 Salmon Creek, Bodega Bay

It was a very hot day and we drove to Bodega Bay to escape the heat.  I painted the scene above.

Hay Bales, Suisun Valley 

This was painted plein air early in the morning before it got too hot.

Birds Landing, Suisun

I painted the above scene very early last Sunday morning.  We had plans to meet with our plein air group from 11 to 3 that day but Michael and I decided to head out very early (7:00 a.m.) in the morning to do our painting.  It's a good thing we did because it got nearly 100 degrees out there.  Most of the group didn't even attempt it.  Only a few brave souls went out in the heat and accomplished a painting.
